By the end of this workshop, participants will know or be able to:

  • Participants will be able to integrate AI into their curriculum with ease
  • Participants will have a better understanding of how to use AI and teach students how to use it without plagiarizing
  • Participants will be able to take the strategies and exercises they get from the workshop and use them in different subject matters

Plans for Audience Participation and Interaction:

Participants will have activities that are group-centered. Participants will have exercises that will help them understand how to use AI in the classroom. Participants will get prompts and guides to help them bring creativity to the classroom which will increase motivation among students. Participants can expect to walk away with ideas, examples, prompts, and other innovation strategies that will transform their classrooms making their job easier and fun for the students.

Marsha Lynn Hudson has been an educator for over 22 years. She has been an adjunct instructor at the University of Houston-Downtown, the University of Phoenix, and Letourneau University. Marsha taught full time for Wharton County Jr. College as a Professor of Literature for 22 years. Marsha received her Ed.S. degree from Walden University. Teaching and training are what Marsha Hudson is all about. In the current phase of her life, Marsha enjoys facilitating professional development workshops to her fellow educators who are still in the classroom.

Marsha also trains entrepreneurs on social media and online marketing for the UH-Small Business Development Center. She is a professional headshot and lifestyle photographer who works with her husband, a drone pilot and videographer. Marsha is an author, speaker, podcaster, trainer, and education consultant. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, walking, nature, yoga, and road trips. Most days, Marsha can be found at a local coffee house or bookstore with a pen and paper in one hand and a coffee in the other.
