NISOD is seeking webinar facilitators for 2025 and invites you to submit a webinar proposal!

Please review the following information before starting your application. Accepted webinars will be scheduled for Fall 2025 and beyond.

We welcome proposals on any topics related to teaching and learning in a community or technical college.

  • Connect with colleagues from around the world.
  • Lead an international conversation about innovative and promising teaching practices.
  • Hear insights from colleagues about your shared experiences and / or research findings.
  • Assist others increase teaching and learning and student success outcomes.
  • It’s fun!

Proposals will be reviewed using the following criteria:

  • Does the proposal include learning objectives that are action-oriented, measurable, and student-focused?
  • Is the content relevant to the educational/training needs of community and technical college educators and their students?

If your webinar proposal is accepted, we will contact you to:

  • Confirm a date for the webinar.
  • Confirm a date to rehearse the webinar at least one month prior to the scheduled webinar broadcast date. (Note: The rehearsed webinar must have 45-50 minutes of content. The remaining time will be used for live Q&A following the completion of the presentation.)

The following information is needed to complete the webinar application. You must complete the form all at once, so we recommend putting this information in a Word document and then transferring it over to the form once you have all the information needed.

  • Webinar title
  • Webinar description (200 words max)
  • Learning outcomes (3 required). For example, “By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to ….” Learning Outcomes – Cheat Sheet
  • Skill tags: Skill tags identify what skills recipients need to demonstrate or learn by the conclusion of the Learning Experience to receive their CEUs.
  • Names, job titles, organizations, email addresses, phone numbers, biographies and photos of all facilitators.
  • Five assessment questions with four possible answers, including one correct answer. All webinars must offer an exam or competency check. Assessments must be outcome-based and quantifiable because learners must pass an assessment to be eligible to receive CEUs.

Note: NISOD maintains a high standard for its webinars. Any webinar submitted for NISOD’s approval must meet our standards. Please review these tips on creating effective presentation slides before creating your webinar presentation.
