NTCC Gets $1.9 Million Grant to Expand Mechatronics Apprenticeship
Northshore Technical Community College in Lacombe has been awarded a $1.93 million federal grant to grow and replicate apprenticeship models for workforce needs. The college will lead an initiative across 10 parishes to train new workers as apprentices in high-demand fields.

Northshore Technical Community College Named the 7th Fastest Growing Community College in the Nation
Seven Louisiana community and technical colleges are ranked among the top 100 fastest growing two-year institutions in the nation according to The Chronicle of Higher Education. Northshore Technical and Community College was the seventh fastest-growing community college in the nation at 145 percent.

Northshore Technical Community College Named One of the Top Places to Work in New Orleans for the Second Year in a Row
The Times-Picayune and The New Orleans Advocate recognized 55 companies and organizations in New Orleans as the top workplaces for 2019. These companies have been recognized based solely on surveys about the workplace completed by their employees. Northshore Technical Community College was ranked 16th.
