Sheryl Powell Appointed Interim Executive Director
Austin, Texas—August 15, 2024—NISOD is pleased to announce that Associate Director Sheryl Powell has been appointed to the position of Interim Executive Director, effective August 16, 2024. With over 30 years of experience with NISOD, Sheryl is ideally positioned to lead the organization during this transitional period. In considering her role in this critical time for the organization, she offered the following thoughts:
