Little Priest Tribal College Where: Winnebago, NE About: Little Priest Tribal College is the institute of higher learning for the community of Winnebago, located in Thurston County, NE. LPTC serves Native and non-Native American students. The College name recognizes the last warrior of the Winnebago, “Chief Little Priest”, whose last words are the mission of the College – “Be Strong and Educate my Children”. To uphold the mission of the College, LPTC strives to serve our community and is the only institution of higher learning that offers HoChunk Language and History courses as a graduation requirement.
